Ryan D. McDuffa

 

Ryan McDuffa is currently enrolled as a student at Northern Illinois College of Business. Before transferring to Northern, he completed his Associates of Arts Degree in May of 2008 at Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois. He will be graduating with a BA in Science and Marketing in December 2011.

 

Ryan recently completed an internship at Road Ranger L.L.C., where he worked in the marketing department. Road Ranger is a large convenience store chain located in the Midwest. He was working directly with a category manager to improve sales and design new signs for advertising in all of the stores. During his internship, sales increased over thirty percent. This was not his first job though; Ryan has been working since he was fifteen years old.  His first job was at a family owned ice cream shop. This is where he discovered his passion for business and money. Now at the age of 25, Ryan is still working for a family business, where he has been given more responsibility and has been able to put to use all of the things he has learned the past four years. Ryan’s dream one day is to become a CEO or successfully start and run a small business.

 

Ryan also has many hobbies; including golf, hockey, and riding his motorcycle to mention a few. Upon graduation Ryan will be accepting a full time position with Road Ranger L.L.C, in their marketing department. The next few months are something Ryan has been looking forward to for a while now, with graduation and a great job opportunity, he is also in the beginning stages of becoming a first time homeowner.
